As part of her working visit to the Copperbelt Province, WARMA Acting Director General, Mrs. Misozi Ngulube Lumpa, conducted a series of field inspections in Masaiti, Ndola, and Kitwe to assess key operational challenges affecting water resources management.
The visits focused on inspecting vandalised hydrological stations and encroachments on water bodies, including the Kafubu River. This provided first hand insight into issues affecting WARMAโ€™s operations and the management of water resources.
These engagements are aimed at strengthening decision making, improving stakeholder coordination, and developing practical solutions to enhance the Authorityโ€™s effectiveness on the ground.
WARMA remains committed to ensuring that water resources are properly managed and that interventions respond to the realities and needs of communities.
