The Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) continues to strengthen strategic partnerships and engage stakeholders at the ongoing 98th Agricultural and Commercial Show Zambia in Lusaka.
Among the notable visitors to the WARMA stand were the Permanent Secretary for Water Development and Sanitation, Eng. Romas Kamanga, as well as the Board and Management of the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA), led by Board Chairperson Mr. Auditor Mazuba.
The delegation was received by WARMA Board Chairperson, Dr. John Kunda, Director General Ms. Misozi Ngulube, and members of Senior Management.
The engagements highlighted the importance of collaboration in protecting Zambia’s water resources and strengthening environmental compliance, particularly in addressing pollution and promoting sustainable water resources management.
The day also coincided with the official opening of the show by His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema, represented by the Secretary to the Cabinet, Mr. Patrick Kangwa, underscoring the significance of innovation, partnerships and sustainable development in driving Zambia’s economic transformation.
WARMA remains committed to working with Government institutions, cooperating partners, the private sector and the public to safeguard Zambia’s water resources and support sustainable national development.
