Ms. Antonina Chisanga – Board Member (Representative of the Attorney General)
Ms. Antonina Chisanga is a seasoned legal practitioner and legislative drafter with over eight years of professional experience in governance, regulatory compliance, and public sector law. She currently serves as Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, on secondment from the Ministry of Justice. She has previously held key legal positions including Principal State Advocate in the Attorney General’s Chambers and Senior Legal Counsel at TAZARA.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation and Investments, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and is a graduate of the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE). She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
On the WARMA Board, Ms. Chisanga represents the Attorney General. In this role, she provides strategic legal oversight and guidance on governance, regulatory frameworks, and compliance matters. She ensures the Authority’s policies, contracts, and operational decisions are legally sound, aligned with national legislation and international standards, and support transparent, effective water resource governance.
